Definition (What it is?) |
Khatri Wall Putty and Joint Compound is a single component, acrylic based , air cured , non -hazardous product. Wall Putty is a highly-filled, hard-drying and normally not very flexible. Linseed oil based is common, made in a dough mixer. Apply to seal the joint between a window pane and the sash.

DESCRIPTION |
Wall Putty is a water resistant polymeric putty for concrete/mortar walls and ceilings. It has superior adhesive strength, durability and increases life of paints. It does not require water curing. It renders a smooth and durable surface suitable for all kinds of paint.

APPLICATION DATA: |
SURFACE PREPARATION: All the loosely adhering and projecting material from the wall should be removed with the help of wire brush, putty blade or emery stone. The wall surface should be moistened with sufficient quantity of water to saturate the surface as well as to clean the dust/dirt. |
APPLICATION: Apply first coat of KHATRI WALL PUTTY uniformly on already cleaned and moistened surface with help of putty blade or trowel. Allow the surface to dry for at least 2-3 hours and then apply 2nd coat of putty if required to match with the adjacent area. Allow it sufficient time to dry completely. After complete drying of the surface, if needed the surface should be rubbed with fine waterproof emery paper. The surface is now ready for painting. |
PRECAUTION : |
It should not be applied on surface with flowing water. The water leakage should be first stopped by KHATRI INDIA system of waterproofing. |
PACKING : Available in 1 kg, 5 kg & 20 kg. Can be tinted to any desired colour by universal strainer. |
SHELF LIFE : 6 months in unopened condition. |
STORAGE : Store in cool & dry place. Keep container, airtight during handling/storage. Protect from extreme climatic condition. |
SAFETY : Non inflammable and non-toxic. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap & water. |
